What is the best way to freezing apricots?

People rely on 3 methods in their homes to freeze apricots, using lemon juice drinks, sugar, and syrups, while avoiding ascorbic acid, and boiling the apricots, and adding sugar to them is one of the best ways they adopt to get the best result.


Freeze apricots with lemon juice.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of fresh apricots
  • A quarter cup of sugar
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • 1 cup of water
  • An amount of cold water with ice
  • A teaspoon of fresh fruit (it's a fruit protector)

6- Cut the apricots into slices using the knife and take into account that the pieces are as even as possible, or you can cut them into small pieces.


7- Remove the bones from the apricots.


8- Place the apricot slices or pieces in containers for preservation in the freezer or in suitable plastic bags. When placing in preservation containers, take care to leave a space at the edge of the container.


9- Pour the syrup on the apricot slices in an appropriate amount into a container.


10- Now close the container tightly and put it in the freezer. Now you have apricots that can be used for a period of 6 to 8 months, you can use them to prepare pies later.

4- In freezing bags or a container suitable for freezing, place the solid peach slices in it, leaving a space above the bowl, and return to the freezer. The slices will not stick because they have been frozen before and you will have peaches that can be used for a period of 2 to 4 months.
