Ingredients / for 2 people


  • 150 g macaroni
  • 1 tomato
  • 70 g mozzarella
  • 3 button mushrooms
  • 10 basil leaves
  • 1/2 yellow pepper
  • 15 ml balsamic vinegar
  • 20 ml of olive oil
  • 2 pinches of Thiercelin "Meat Lovers" spices (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • Salt
  • Pepper

How to prepare Amish macaroni salad


Cook the pasta according to the package directions. After cooking, rinse the pasta with cold water. Let cool well 15 minutes. Meanwhile rinse the mushrooms, tomato, basil and peppers. Cut the mushrooms into strips. Dice the tomato and pepper. Chop the basil.

Pour the pasta into a bowl and add the mushrooms, tomato, chopped pepper. Pour in the vinegar, salt, pepper and the meat lovers spices. You mix it all up. Dice the mozzarella and add to the bowl. Pour olive oil and honey without stirring constantly. Sprinkle with basil at the last moment and finally serve.

You can easily replace all vegetables with seasonal ones. This recipe can serve as a side dish for meat or be served as a main course by increasing the measures. You can add a little fresh Parmesan cheese to add flavour.
